Sri Anna foundation supported or supports a scholarship to fund early diagnosis of autism in young kids from low income families who cannot afford to pay for early diagnosis. Early diagnosis is vital for the family to qualify for NJ State funded treatment for autism.

- Shinsky Orphanage (Mexico): John Shinsky’s story is an inspiring one. He started this orphanage in Mexico to help educate orphaned children. John himself grew up in an orphanage and became a famous college football player at Mission State University. He survived cancer and took a 2000 mile bike ride from Michigan to Matamoros, Mexico to raise funds to start the Orphanage.

- Through Stephen Siller’s Foundation (NYC) to New York Foundling to support its foster care after school programs. Seller’s Foundation in NYC which was started in memory of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who ran from his home in Brooklyn to the Twin Towers through the BatteryTunnel with his fire fighting gears to help fight the September 11 fires but never returned, to help orphans and disadvantaged children in the five boroughs of New York city.

- Sawbhimaan – Autism Center in Chennai, India –This autism center uses Yoga and Sports therapy, in addition to other methods, to treat autistic children. When Sahana visited this center in Chennai, she noticed the children were taken to the roadside area to start their sports session as the center did not have a playground of its own. They were also using worn out equipments. Sri Anna foundation supports their sports activities with its funding.

- MyHelpingHands.org,Coimbatore, India –Runs two schools for orphaned children in Chennai and Coimbatore. Its founder Mr. Vidyakar lost his parents at a young age and was brought by a business man who took him under his wing. Mr. Vidyakar had his education in Social work and worked in Mother Theresa’s projects for some time. When he came back to Chenai, he found an abandoned child on the roadside and decided to bring him up. The one child grew to two, two to four and so on and very soon resulted in him opening a orphanage for abandoned children in the streets of Chennai..
